NOTE TO PAT ROBERTSON: Give God and Bush a Break Already.
Geez, Louise. You don't need to be snappin' your bible belt to our President because of his comments to you before the war. If he said that there would be no casualties in the Iraq war, I'm sure he meant it in the sense of "Well, no casualties to speak of." or a whole lot less American casualties than innocent Iraqi civilian ones. OR, compared to annual deaths by handguns in the U.S., the 1,000 soldiers are just a drop in the bucket. While W is not a nuanced nancy boy like Kerry, I'm sure, Pat, you'll agree that you misunderstood our President.

And anyway, in one of your conversations with God earlier in the campaign, He told you that the election was going to be a blowout. This was probably an update from his celestial Spin Room where He's got all the data feeds from Fox News. Now, you're saying that God has recast His prediction: it's going to be close on the popular vote, but a blowout on the Electoral College. My point, Pat, is if there is wiggle room on predictions, give these guys a break. Ok???
